About the Speaker:

Daniel Lombardi began his medical career in 2001 after graduating from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is boarded in both Emergency and Family Medicine, and is a graduate of the GNYHA/UHF Clinical Quality Fellowship Program.

He currently serves at Associate Medical Director, Patient Safety Officer and Director of Medical Education at SBH Health System, Bronx.

During his career, Dr. Lombardi has held various leadership positions including Program Director of SBH Health System’s Emergency Medicine Residency, and Associate and then Acting Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine.

As Patient Safety Officer, Dr. Lombardi has led and continues to lead multiple system wide patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.

Dr. Lombardi holds a faculty appointment of Affiliate Assistance Medical Professor at the CUNY School of Medicine, and serves on the Board of Directors for the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine Educational Consortium.
