About the Speaker:

In this capacity she participated in the planning, building and opening of the Hartford HealthCare’s Care Logistics Center; the regions first transfer center. Hartford HealthCare is a seven hospital, 1500 bed system. She is responsible for the activities of the Care Logistics Center including the Bed Management and Transfer Center Staff. She oversees all patient admissions and transfers and works closely with the senior leadership in all facilities and between all points of entry to facilitate the continuous throughput of patients. She develops bed management protocols that support safe patient throughput and patient flow. She monitors the accuracy and effectiveness of patient throughput systems and all interfaces with the clinical system.
