About the Speaker:
As an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Lyn has multiple responsibilities. She is the Medical Director for Care Management and Patient Flow. She is also an Attending physician in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Lyn earned her M.D. degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed she Residency and Chief Residency in Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. This was followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2010 she became board certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics. She is currently board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Abuse Pediatrics
Her administrative, clinical, education and community outreach work focuses largely on children in crisis. Dr. Lyn’s primary focus is on the comprehensive care of children within the healthcare system. Her past experience as the medical director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Ben Taub General Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital, Sugar Land has enabled her to work within multidisciplinary teams to address the comprehensive healthcare needs of pediatric patients and their families. Her outreach work in the community has involved education of various professionals and families who can impact the health needs of children.
Dr. Lyn’s longstanding goal is to improve the lives of children in crisis through her work as a physician, educator and administrator.
