Phillip West, MSW, LGSW, CTT is a clinical therapist at the WVU Department of Behavioral Medicine in Morgantown, WV. Within this capacity, Phillip conducts individual and group therapy focusing on PTSD and Substance Use. Phillip contributes to the Comprehensive Opioid Addiction Treatment (COAT) clinic at an offsite location – Lakewood Center – that focuses on medication assisted treatment for clients who struggle with an opioid addiction. Phillip received his Master of Social Work from West Virginia University in 2014. Prior to working at WVU Medicine, Phillip was a full time outpatient clinical therapist through Valley HealthCare System in Fairmont, WV and was actively involved in redeveloping the Intensive Services Program (formerly IOP) with a primary focus in addiction.
