About the Speaker:
Ms. Booker is a Health Insurance Specialist for the Division of Survey and Certification (DSC) Non – Long Term Care Certification & Enforcement Branch at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Region IV Atlanta Office. She provides guidance and expertise and serves as the official liaison between CMS/DSC and the State Survey Agency (s) in the day to day management and oversight of the Medicare/Medicaid Survey and Certification Program. She is the Region IV lead for Hospitals, End Stage Renal disease and Community Mental Health Centers.
Ms. Booker has dual BS degrees from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in Foods, Nutrition & Institutional Administration and Nursing. She completed her Post Graduate Certification and Dietetic Internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
